Get Physical Therapy To Relieve Wrist Pains

Physical therapy for wrist pains is a form of treatment that can be helpful in dealing with the symptoms of wrist pain. It involves a variety of exercises and is especially useful if you have a history of injury or arthritis in the wrist. For this reason, it is essential to seek the advice of a qualified health professional if you are suffering from wrist pain. Before undergoing physical therapy, you should have a thorough physical examination. A physical therapist will first perform nerve and strength tests to determine the extent of your wrist pain. If there are any doubts, the therapist may order imaging tests. After a thorough physical examination, the therapist will suggest a course of therapy. They will demonstrate exercises for you to strengthen and relax the tendons and ligaments in your wrist. In addition, the therapist may recommend using a wrist brace to limit the amount of motion in your wrist.

Dr. Solomon Normatov

As a lifelong athlete, I’ve experienced a wide array of sports-related injuries.  In fact, my interest in this profession was sparked at just eighteen years-old, when I received physical therapy for a shoulder injury incurred while playing football.  Later, I achieved my Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from the University of the Sciences of Philadelphia.

I employ a holistic, evidence-based approach to my treatment, taking a full assessment of your status and needs to design the perfect plan for your body and circumstances.  I use research-driven methods to help you achieve your physical therapy goals.  I am detail-oriented, innovative, highly knowledgeable in biomechanics, and a fantastic problem-solver.  I operate on three principles: honesty, perseverance, and resilience.

The most rewarding part of my job is helping others reclaim their health and wellness.  I love to use my experience and background to support and guide my patients as they commit to their recovery.  And I can’t wait to facilitate this journey for you, bestowing upon you the right exercises and information to carry you to success!
