Treat The Aches & Pains From Your Neck

If you’re looking for a natural solution to neck pain, physical therapy may be the perfect solution. Depending on the severity of your pain, your therapist can design a personalized program based on your needs. Treatment includes exercises, massage, and stretching. Some therapists recommend using ultrasound to improve circulation. Your therapist can also teach you how to improve your posture. This can help relieve your neck pain and get you back to normal life.

During your physical therapy sessions, your therapist will ask about your neck pain history and what you’re doing to alleviate it. Your doctor can recommend specific exercises for you based on your specific needs. If you have an injury, your therapist may recommend stretching or a specialized exercise program. In addition, they will evaluate your posture and ask about your proprioception, muscle strength, and underlying causes of your pain.

Dr. Solomon Normatov

As a lifelong athlete, I’ve experienced a wide array of sports-related injuries.  In fact, my interest in this profession was sparked at just eighteen years-old, when I received physical therapy for a shoulder injury incurred while playing football.  Later, I achieved my Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from the University of the Sciences of Philadelphia.

I employ a holistic, evidence-based approach to my treatment, taking a full assessment of your status and needs to design the perfect plan for your body and circumstances.  I use research-driven methods to help you achieve your physical therapy goals.  I am detail-oriented, innovative, highly knowledgeable in biomechanics, and a fantastic problem-solver.  I operate on three principles: honesty, perseverance, and resilience.

The most rewarding part of my job is helping others reclaim their health and wellness.  I love to use my experience and background to support and guide my patients as they commit to their recovery.  And I can’t wait to facilitate this journey for you, bestowing upon you the right exercises and information to carry you to success!

Physical Therapy Will Alleviate Your Neck Pain

A physical therapist can also analyze your work environment to determine what causes your neck pain and create a treatment plan. After assessing your neck condition, your therapist will provide exercises that will help you reduce your pain and avoid further injury. They can also evaluate your home environment, as well, to determine what habits are causing your pain. A physical therapist can provide you with advice on how to create healthy habits to help your neck move better.

Physical therapy for neck pain is a great option for those who want to avoid surgery. If you’re experiencing chronic pain, physical therapy can help you reduce the severity of your neck condition. It can help you avoid the risk of permanent disability. If you’re not in the position to undergo a surgical procedure, you should consult a health care professional immediately.

A certified therapist will assess the range of motion of your neck and lower back and will recommend low-impact aerobic exercises for the neck. The aim is to decrease your neck pain and restore your posture. Your therapist will also discuss your medical history and determine if your pain has resolved. Book your appointment today!
